      Mitchell Kaplan has taught, lectured and performed all around the United States for 18 years. He has served 8 years as an adjudicator for All-State and Solo and Ensemble, written 8 music education books and received numerous awards for his compositions which he wrote. He has been on National television and local television and performed on college stations that were heard around the world.
      
      As today he is an enthusiastic teacher devoted to music education, still active in the music publication of his own essays and thoughts about music
